Health care
Phuket
High standard of health care, especially at several
international hospitals. Health tourism is a growing niche in Phuket
people arrive, get a breast enlarged, nose straightened, tummy
tucked or gender flopped, and recover on the beach before going home.
Also, for many years foreigners have come to Thailand to have dental
work done it's generally pretty hard to find a bad dentist
in Thailand.

Pharmacies
Found everywhere. You can buy many drugs over the counter for which
you would need prescriptions in the West, including some quite potent
and/or potentially addictive drugs. Just ask in the pharmacy. Also
doesn't hurt to try another pharmacy if a request is turned down
not all follow the same rulebook.
